Our Rectangular Sludge Containers are built as open top containers with a sealed tailgate to allow for hauling and containing almost any type of material. They can be fit to any size truck and hoist and are able to be built with our Standard or Heavy Duty specifications.
We ensure the containment of materials by doing a continuous weld on the inside of the box. A P-shaped rubber gasket is inserted into a retainer track that is welded across the bottom and up both side of the tailgate to create the sealed tailgate. Ratchet binders are used to operate the sliding hinge on the passenger side of the container with the latch system on the driver’s side and to seal the bottom center of the tailgate.
